According to a study, male youth 200-meter sprinters' performance was impacted by a lack of explosive power, speed-strength, and speed endurance in clubs and national teams. The study's
Goal: was to construct a training regimen based on the intense HIIT technique in order to improve 200-meter sprint performance. The study was an experimental investigation that was appropriate for the issue. Eight athletes (18โ19 years old) who participated in the 2025โ2026 club championships were purposefully chosen from Baghdad clubs and the National Center for Sports Talent Care. Two athletes were not included in the pilot study, leaving a final sample of six. A maximum-distance hop test (10 seconds), an explosive power test, a 150-meter speed endurance test, and a 200-meter sprint performance test were among the physical testing. The
Results: showed that the experimental group members' 200-meter sprint performance was positively impacted by the high-intensity interval training program (intense technique), which significantly improved their explosive power, speed-strength, and speed endurance. The
Findings: of the pre-test and post-test showed significant differences, with the experimental group choosing the post-test. The research participants' performance
results, explosive power, speed-strength, and speed endurance all improved as a
Result: of the training regimen. The study advises coaches to focus on sprinters' explosive power, speed-strength, and speed endurance and to give competitors' physical conditioning first priority. Additionally, this program and training approach can be used for various athlete categories and
