Organizational and financial conditions constitute important contextual factors in athlete development because they shape the environment in which training, competition preparation, and performance support are implemented. This study aimed to examine the partial and simultaneous effects of organizational culture and financial factors on the performance of Muay Thai athletes in Tanah Laut Regency. A quantitative cross-sectional explanatory survey
Design: was employed. The study involved 34 male and female Muay Thai athletes who met the eligibility criteria and were included using total population sampling. Data were collected through structured questionnaires measuring organizational culture, financial factors, and athlete performance, supported by documentation of competition participation and achievement records. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression after testing the relevant classical assumptions. The Kolmogorov–Smirnov test indicated that the residuals were normally distributed (p = 0.200 > 0.05). No multicollinearity was detected, as both predictors showed a tolerance value of 0.432 and a variance inflation factor of 2.316. Heteroscedasticity testing also showed no violation for organizational culture (p = 0.153) or financial factors (p = 0.929). Partial hypothesis testing demonstrated that organizational culture did not significantly affect athlete performance (p = 0.658 > 0.05), while financial factors also showed no significant independent effect (p = 0.151 > 0.05). However, the simultaneous test revealed a significant joint effect of organizational culture and financial factors on athlete performance (F = 3.884; p = 0.031 < 0.05). The coefficient of determination was R² = 0.200, indicating that the two predictors collectively explained 20% of the variance in athlete performance, while 80% was associated with other factors. These
Findings: suggest that organizational culture and financial support are more meaningful when functioning together within an integrated athlete-development system rather than as isolated determinants of Muay Thai performance.
