Design: pedagogically grounded training
Methods: that not only enhance physical qualities but also support the harmonious development of the athlete’s personality. The article analyzes age-specific factors that influence the selection of training
methods, including biological maturity, functional capabilities of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, and the psychological readiness of young athletes to engage in structured training. It is emphasized that the effectiveness of endurance development depends on the alignment of training loads with age-related capacities, the gradual progression of intensity, and the individualization of the training process. The study explores contemporary approaches to developing aerobic and anaerobic endurance, such as interval training, game-based exercises, circuit training, as well as additional aerobic activities including running, swimming, and cycling. It is demonstrated that combining traditional and innovative pedagogical technologies enhances the acquisition of motor skills, strengthens motivation, and builds resilience to physical and emotional stress. Special attention is given to the role of the coach as an educator who not only ensures physical development but also cultivates discipline, responsibility, teamwork, and a commitment to self-improvement in young athletes. The article highlights that a pedagogically competent training process contributes to long-term athletic development, reduces the risk of overtraining, and supports the formation of stable athletic performance.
