VR/AR Immersive Training in Dragon and Lion Dance Teaching in Colleges and Universities

Researchers built a VR/AR immersive training system, paired with UWB/IMU motion tracking, to teach dragon and lion dance in universities and to measure team coordination that is normally hard to quantify. The experimental group's coordination efficiency scores on complex movement curves improved by 42.30%, with notable reductions in trajectory deviation and breakdowns in group formation, and tactile feedback was reported as a key factor.
